Techno music renaissance man, DJ Spooky is an internationally regarded composer, multimedia artist, editor, and author. Holding the distinction of being the Metropolitan Museum of Art's first artist-in-residence, DJ Spooky will give the valedictory Groundswell performance with a performance of avant-garde composer John Cage's 1939 piece "Imaginary Landscape No. 1" at 5 p.m. on the East Lawn. The performance will employ a sonic arrangement, utilizing two variable speed phono turntables, frequency recordings, muted piano and cymbal.
